Four weeks later.
How many times had Adrien postponed the date? It was the first time he had delayed it so long. Although he didn't want to see Alaric, he never behaved rudely toward him. However, between the death of Valeria's mother, the new arrest of Ramses (since the neighbors placed him at the scene), and the ongoing investigation that both he and Valeria were fully aware of, plus his wife's mourning, Adrien was very busy. He barely had time to spare; his schedule was very tight.
Adrien didn't like Alaric, and he had his reasons.
They had studied together and went from being friends to Alaric becoming the instigator of others making fun of him, to the point of hurting him, simply because of his tastes for comics, superheroes, villains, and those fantastic stories
