"Valeria, this is important. It might even put an end to our differences." It was Elena's fourth message so far that hour. She didn't pay attention to it and continued playing with little Millie, who turned out to be very curious and funny.
They were now watching a video about some materials that Valeria had to see, to get to know them, and to understand how she and her team were going to present the proposal.
She had a lot of work to do, but she didn't want to stress. Aside from distracting her mind from what really mattered, there was little time left before the birth of Mia. Luckily, she felt great. It had been a good first pregnancy, and having Adrien there in the final stretch was comforting.
She needed to not let Elena ruin all this; otherwise, Elena would win again.
