Mia nestled in her mother's arms, and Adrien took her as they entered the party. They were offered drinks, and Julián López welcomed them with his wife. They introduced Valeria to many people and little Mia.
From a distance, Elena approached stealthily, leaving Mario talking to some friends.
She approached Adrien, who held Mia in his arms.
"Finally, I get to meet my niece," he said with feigned joy. Valeria stepped in between, blocking Elena's view of the little girl.
"Don't come near my daughter," Valeria warned.
"Don't worry, sister. Is this how you greet me after our first meeting as sisters? It seems you lack affection for me. I never imagined you would have the audacity to show up at an event like this after everything that has been said and seen about you
