Days. Weeks. Have passed and yet Luke still can't decipher that Calum is gone. That he's never coming back.
He knows drowning himself in alcohol is not a way to relieve the pain that he feels but it’s the only way to sulk and regret all the things that he's done.
The baby was crying and Luke could care less. He knows he should rush over there but he just can't. The heavy weight on his chest didn't want him to leave and just sit here in the stool and drink for the rest if his life.
The cry is getting annoying so he went to the living room and opened the TV. The static sound of the voices on the TV drowns out the cry.
