Chapter XX – Wounded Heart
Third Person’s POV
Calum woke up to the sound of Luke's phone ringing. Luke picked it up and suddenly his face darkened.
He quickly declined the call and sat up rubbing his face mostly his eyes when he noticed Calum starring.
'We're getting a new hotel room today.' He said with a harsh tone. 'Well, good morning to you too.' Calum said sitting up.
Luke ignored him and went to the bathroom leaving Calum to wonder why he's moody?
Luke opened the faucet of the shower and let the cold water ran down his body. He let his mind wander to the conversation of Calum and Liam last night.
He still doesn’t know what to feel about it. He'll admit, he has something more about Calum. But he can't pursue it, especially when she's still here.
Calum's phone rings from the outside and Luke turned the faucet off to hear who's Calum is talking to.
'Hello? Who's this?' Calum asked. Luke's eyebrows furrowed.
'Z-zayn? How did you know my number?'
With that Luke quickly took a very quick shower and got out with his robe on.
He saw Calum by the door, holding a bouquet of flowers in his hand while by his feet is a box of chocolate. He is signing a paper clipped on a clip board.
When the door was closed, Calum picked up the chocolate and smiled. 'Who is that from?' Luke asked, glaring at the flowers.
'I don't really know.' Calum said. 'You don't need those right?' Luke said and put on his clothes.
'W-what?' Calum asked. 'I said you don't need those right?' Luke slammed the door of his closet.
'Yeah?' Calum said uncertain. 'Then throw it away.' Luke said scrolling through his phone.
'What?! No..' Calum exclaimed. 'Throw it away and we'll be fine.' Luke said harshly.
Calum walked to the trash bin and throw the flowers as well as the chocolates but without pulling the card from the plastic. Luke didn't miss that but he just let it slipped.
'Luke when we'll we see the tower?' Calum said excitedly trying to lighten the mood.
'Can't you just wait? We'll go there! Not now!' Luke said blocking the noise by putting his earphones in.
Calum felt his heart clenched. He blinked the tears back. He opened the card and read what was written there.
Hey CallyKins! I hope you like the flowers. They were rare and beautiful just like you. Jade vines.
-Z.M.
The day passed but without Calum picking up the flowers and putting them in a vase not caring if Luke get mad.

Paris was fair? Calum thinks. It’s safe to say that he didn't enjoy the times they were there.
Yes, they kissed under the tower. But he would say peck. Meaningless peck to be specific.
Luke was giving him the cold shoulder. He didn't care what Calum thinks or feels. Calum's finger was wounded from picking up shards of broken glass. Luke didn't spare him a glance when he yelped in pain.
Calum cried while he was sterilizing the wound. But not from the sting and pain of the wound. But from the pain his wounded heart makes every time it clenches.

Luke's POV
I slammed my fingers down to my keyboard and groaned when one of the keys come out.
I know I've been a d**k to Calum but what can I do? After I heard their conversation, I can't help but do those things.
I don't deserve Calum and I never will. I'm a man with demons and dark secrets. I don't deserve someone who's soul is pure and innocent that had a dark past.
Someone rang the doorbell repeatedly and ignored it knowing that Calum is in the living room. But after a while, there was a bang on the door and the bell is getting annoying.
I stood up and walked in the living room where the TV was on but no one was watching. I opened the door and my eyes widened.
She was there, a big baby bump in her stomach.
'W-what are you doing here?'
'Can't I be back to my husband?'
'What?!' Someone gasped behind me.
