Jignesh: A friend, a guide, and a manager A week has been passed since the Singhania offspring have disappeared but the police have found nothing. They are not even able to find the person who was trying to climb the fence the same night when the children get disappointed. They have dug into each and every house in the neighborhood and nearby village but has found no evidence of the children or the person. The police officers are trying with all their resources in the case but they are getting no lead. As Mr. Singhania is a businessman and he has been staying there for more than he has thought, so he calls for his friend, manager, and mentor to know what is going in the company. He wants to divert his mind from the incident and therefore he calls for him. Mr. Singhania also recalls that whenever he has fallen in trouble his friend has always helped him to come out of the crisis of how big or small the problem or crisis is. Now, a huge crisis has fallen on their family and so he remembers no one other than his friend and mentor as he believes he can only help Mr. Singhania out. “The name of the person is Jignesh and you all can recognize me and hope have not forgotten me. I have told you a few things about me and the rest you all will come to know later.” Jignesh arrives at Megh Gang nearly at eleven o’clock in the morning. When he gets out of his vehicle and enters the campus of the bungalow he sees Mr. Singhania is sitting on an armchair in the lawn, facing towards the entrance. When Mr. Singhania sees him his face is filled with some kind of happiness and tears roll out from the side of his face. Both of them greet each other with a hug and Mr. Singhania continues to clasp him for a while and this shows how eagerly he has been waiting for Jignesh for such a long time. Jignesh has visited this place earlier before the family has arrived at the request of Mr. Singhania to look at the arrangements and the condition of the bungalow if it is suitable for living or not? When Jignesh returned from Megh Gang Mr. Singhania wanted to know his view about the place, where they were residing in the present scenario. Jignesh began: “The place is located in a district of Himachal Pradesh. It is situated in quite a distance from the district of Shimla – it is a suburb. If anyone wants to spend some time away from city life, the place will be a good choice. It is surrounded by mountain ranges, dense wilderness, and rivers. The bungalow is located in a valley and it looks like a – heaven between the hills.” After hearing so much of praise from Jignesh, Mr. Singhania decided to visit the area himself and rent the house in which they are residing presently. After having an extended greeting both Mr. Singhania and Jignesh go inside the bungalow. When they are sitting in the living room Jignesh understands that something is wrong as he can tell it from Mr. Singhania's face which has turned into a rough one with no smile visible on his face. So, Jignesh inquiries what’s the matter is and why he is so much upset about it? Mr. Singhania starts narrating the entire story to his friend. “It had been a fortnight since my son Rahul and daughter Neelam had disappeared suddenly. No one knew what had happened to them and where had they gone. The police had been trying to locate the culprit and the children and they did not get anything (no person or clue) which could help them to find my son and daughter. I am feeling helpless and don’t know what to do? Are they alive or not? I don’t know anything or have any news about them for the last seven days.”  After hearing this Jignesh realizes the seriousness of the entire matter and he can only give him condolence about the disappearance of his offspring as he can do nothing in this matter. Mrs. Singhania arrives in the living room and she is quite pleased by seeing Jignesh as both of them trust him to a great extent. The police officers have come to the bungalow to give a regular update in the case. Jignesh is also present there. So after having an introductory speech about himself to the official in charge Jignesh asks them about the proceedings of the case and what is the present status? The chief officer replies, “We are trying our best to fond the two children. We have sent different teams in various parts of the area and the nearby villages in search of the children or any mysterious person residing in the village or if the people staying in the village have seen any mysterious person, but they get no lead or anything positive in their investigation. They also tell him that the police are trying to locate the person who was trying to climb into the campus that night and is hopeful that they will get to the person soon.” After having a decent conversation all of them go towards the dining room to have lunch. The Singhania family is not willing to eat but on Jignesh’s request, they eat a little. After lunch, the police officers left the bungalow and goes on with the investigation. Mr. Singhania and Jignesh are having some talk about their business and Mrs. Singhania goes up to her room for having a bit of rest. On Mr. Singhania's request, Jignesh decides to stay there until the children are discovered and rescued. After having some conversation with Jignesh, Mr. Singhania says he is feeling much better and so he also goes to his room to have an afternoon nap. He orders the servants to prepare the guest room for his friend and meanwhile, Jignesh decides to have a walk in the neighborhood and enjoy the natural beauty of the place.
