Character Description

Mr. Mahesh Singhania;- He is a well-known businessman. He owns a pharmaceutical company name as Singhania Group of Pharmacy. The company was established by his father Mr. Motilal Singhania. Now he runs the company and has worked very hard to get it established both nationally and internationally.

Mrs. Nita Singhania;- She is the wife of Mr. Singhania. She is a doctor by profession. Her father is a retired army official. She is also an animal lover and has opened many animal shelters for street animals. She is a proper example of how women can work outside and take care of her family simultaneously.

Neelam Singhania;- She is the elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Singhania. She is in her collage and studying medical from one of the reputed colleges in Pune. She is the captain of the basketball team of her college and has represented the college in different state and national level competitions. She is also an animal rights activist like her mother and is associated with many NGOs. She is good at both sports and studies and even social work.

Rahul Singhania;- He is the younger son of the two. Being the youngest children he is loved by each and every member of the Singhania family. He is in his early days of secondary school. He is good at sports and represents his school cricket team in different State and national competitions. He is also the captain of his school team. He is an average student who is brilliant in sports. He likes to read books, watch sports and movies.

Jignesh;- He is the friend of Mr. Mahesh Singhania. Mr. Singhania considers Jignesh as his friend, philosopher, and guide as he has helped him come out of different difficult situations. He is also his manager who looks after different works of the company, household, and his appointment. His real name is Aniket who is disguised as Jignesh. He is a perverted personality.

Mr. Charles Jones;- He is the private detective in the novel. He is an Indo-European origin man. He is the person who discloses different types of mystery throughout the novel.

Govardhan Ahuja;- He is also summoned as Govardhan Kaka by the housemates. He is one of the oldest servants in the family who is serving them for more than ten years. He is the house manager and takes care of the entire house and household work on behalf of the entire family.

Mr. Nirmal:- He is the officer in charge of the local police. He helps Mr. Jones on behalf of the local police in solving the case and disclosing mysteries to the audience.
