My heart was beating so fast against my chest, my palms were sweaty and breathing was a heavy task. As I picked my phone up and saw all the calls I had missed while having the absolute time of my life, I had mixed feelings.
Guilt, definitely there, but I could not stop myself from smiling when I remembered why my phone was on the floor in the first place and why my screen was cracked. This was the courage that I needed.
