“Don’t blame me, blame anyone expect me. Blame Rowan that stupid Alpha for always hot on our heels. I am twenty-two years old Ethan; I can make decisions for myself.” I shouted at him. Closing the door. My heart pounding. The monster in me trying to get out, ready to snap everything that stands in my way. My wolf growling, angry and frustrated.

I can hear Ethan trying to open the door, shouting at me to come outside, I let his voice turn into a background noise. As I wore a track pant. I open the window, clutching the rail I climb down.

I ran towards the forest hoping the nature will calm me down; as I was running, I heard someone chasing me. I turned around to find Ethan picking up speed. I started discarding my clothes letting my wolf take control; as my bones reshaped.

I shifted into my beast running far, far from him.Ethan shifted and started chasing me. I was running as fast as I could but he was faster than me. A trained warrior ready for any situation.

He pounced on me, tackling me to the ground. Pain laced my growl as the hard forest ground digged into my back, broken branches poking my limbs.Above me Ethan in his wolf form. beautiful as ever. His paw resting on either side of my head. His fur a metallic brown in color. His green eyes turning red with anger as he kept on gazing at me. His lips turning into a sneer hinting, the amount of trouble I am in.

Suddenly he pulled me up, hiding me behind his big body. Taking his fighting stance, he peered into the darkness observing every move. Swift as an arrow something shot at us from the darkness. I dodged it Ethan doing the same. I peered into the forest ground trying to find out what almost pierced my limb. It looked like a tranquilizer, I sniffed trying to find out what was it. I let out a growl finding that it was aconitum. It is a special herb which temporarily disables a werewolf’s ability, making them extremely weak.

Five wolves circled us. Ethan growled at them to leave us alone. They closed in from all sides leaving no room for escape. A wolf with blond fur approached us cautiously. I growled scared that it will kill us.

A wolf with brown fur shifted into his human form. He had dark brown hair and he was about 6′5 foot tall. His facial features barely distinguishable. I couldn’t see the rest of him as he was in the shadows.

“Either you can come peacefully with us or we can sedate you and bring you with us. My Alpha wants to meet you both. You have caused a lot of problems for us.” He said.

We weren’t ready to give up, sensing this. The other four wolves closed on us. Ethan and me ready to fight. Us being distracted focusing on the four wolves. The mysterious person who earlier tried to shoot us. Shot again, this time not missing it.

I howled in pain as I shifted back into my human form. Tears sliding down my cheek, trailing a path down my neck. I felt someone drape a jacket over my body as Ethan clutched my fingers.

I fell into a dreamless but painful sleep.I woke up to someone splashing cold water on me. I shivered. I was kneeling my hands and legs tied to a pole on either side of my body. Someone had dressed me; I was wearing an oversize shirt and track pants. The thought of someone’s hands over my body disgusted me.

I looked at the man who threw water at me. He had blonde hair and grey eyes; he was about tall as the person who stood by the door. The man standing near the door resembled the wolf who spoke to us yesterday. I snarled at the blonde one, the wet clothes adding extra weight on my shoulders.I looked at the man who threw water at me. I was sure he was a beta and the blonde one, third in command I also smelled dead rats, urine, vomit and a powerful scent but I couldn’t place my finger on it. It seemed as if someone was trying to hide their scent. But they can’t hide it from me.

I tried sensing for Ethan I couldnt find his presence in this room. I closed my eyes trying to find him. I panicked when I couldnt find him. The aconitum made my body weak, unable to use my powers efficiently I let out a growl.Frustrated I opened my mouth to shout for Ethan when a deep masculine voice interrupted me.

“I wouldn’t do that if I were you”I turned around and found the handsomest man coming out of the shadows. The soft light from the bulb illuminating his impressive features. I sniffed at him, a powerful smell hitting my nostrils. He was an Alpha. I can smell his stench from here. Knowing very well who he is I asked.

“Who are you?” I asked not willing to give away anything.

He moved swift as a lightning and stood before me. He took hold of my chin in a tight grip.

“I am Alpha Rowan Whitethron Santiago sweetheart and you are in no position to question me. “He replied threat visible in his reply. I felt a jolt of electricity as his fingers caressed my cheek. My p***y clutching in pleasure.

“Why am I feeling like this?“My wolf replied in a weak voice- because he is our mate Aur.
