“So, you cooked dinner for me?” Lucas eyed the food on the table. Loosening his tie, he took a seat at the table across from Sabrina.
“Hmm.” Sabrina nodded,d her face serious, “I think I did well this time. I followed each and every instruction in the cookbook.”
“I took the time to set the table for a candlelight dinner. Quick, open it!” Sabrina beamed.
She was excited for Lucas to open the chafer himself. After all, this dinner was specially prepared for him.
Lucas opened the round chafer with a little anticipation, “You knew how to cook chicken and mushroom risotto?” he bemusedly smiled.
“Yup. The perfect one!” Sabrina said with pride. She took a lot of time studying how to cook that dish. Elizabeth had mentioned to her that Lucas liked that dish, so she wanted to cook it for him.
