Aiden turned around several times to check if I was there, but just as he was about to tilt his head upwards, a guttural growl of anguish took over his lungs, making him shake violently.
And with one fast swing, he flew away quickly.
I waited till he had gone a bit far before hopping down.
I breathed a sigh of relief.
Shifting to my dragon form, I flew after him quickly.
I could see him flapping through the night like a shadow, but I maintained my distance.
Then he arrived at a small village in Aldridge.
I followed closely, but knowing fully well that following too closely would make him notice that I was stalking him,
I took to a mountain not too far away from the little village.
I perched, still maintaining my dragon form just in case.
That was when I saw everything for myself.
