AIDEN’S POV I woke up on my balcony, as usual, but this time I was badly injured. I struggled to stand, my body screaming in pain as agony rippled through every part of me. They had wounded me with spears and arrows before I even had the chance to burn them. I had no choice but to retaliate. If I had not, they would have killed me.
