He felt like he was floating in darkness. It was the same feeling he had when flying. Soaring above the world, weightless, worry free. Except he couldn't feel his wings. He tried to look for them, and an excruciating pain rocked the right side of his chest. He stopped trying to move, and the pain subsided some. He was not floating anymore. He was lying on a bed. He heard a constant beeping noise. He tried opening his eyes, but he quickly shut them again when the light almost blinded him. He groaned. Memories of what happened, rushed into his mind. He was flying to Cathy's cabin, when he heard a whistling sound. He didn't even see the arrow before it hit him, pinning his right wing against his body.
