KAEL’S POV
My eyes slowly closed as I buried my face in my palm, “We don’t know that for sure.” I murmured against my palm, but it was still loud enough for Kalina to hear.
“Of course we do. You confirmed it yourself. You told me you felt the bond before-”
“Don’t say it. And yes, I know what I felt…It’s just…”
“What?” Kalina pressed further.
“I just feel this connection with her. I don’t know if I should classify it as a bond because it doesn’t behave like one. At least not according to your descriptions.” Kalina raised an eyebrow in question, not quite understanding my words.
“It’s not stable. The first time I felt the bond, she was in her wolf form, tearing that advanced assassin to shreds, but once she shifted back into her normal form, the bond disappeared.”
“Like snap?” She ask
