THIRD PERSON’S POV
Kael rushed from where he stood by the window and caught Lyra’s falling body before it hit the ground.
He remembered what happened the last time and managed to stop himself from panicking and causing a scene. Instead, he gently placed his other hand underneath her knees and lifted her in his arms before tucking her into the bed.
When he walked into the kitchen, Mirai immediately saw the worried look on his face and asked, “What happened? Where is Lyra?”
“She fainted.”
She jerked to her feet and was about heading for the bedroom when Kael stopped her, “Don't panic. I think it's the same thing that happened last time. But I still want you to go in there and be with her.”
Mirai visibly relaxed, before raising an eyebrow at the Alpha. “Why? Are you heading out?”
