LYRA’S POV Just as I was still contemplating on how to get myself out of his not-so tight grip, Kael moved, his hand under my small bump went up a little higher, his other hand slid across my collarbone and he pulled me closer to him, my back pressed against his chest, as he pressed his nose into my neck and his body heat radiated and enveloped me. Every thought of fleeing evaporated from my mind and all I could think of was how peaceful it was being in his arms.
