CHAPTER 13
KAEL’S POV
Today, I woke up with the sense of dread. Or was it the gut feeling that something momentous was about to happen. Either ways it had me on guard and everyone could see I was agitated about something.
“Here.” Kalina, my little sister and Enforcer, threw my sword at me which i caught – a scowl on her face. “You’re making others restless with your agitation. Go on patrol or something and clear your head. Before I punch you for making my children worried. Go with my husband.”
I heaved a sigh and just walked away after giving her a stiff nod of my head. I took three of my pack members and we headed out to patrol the city. My manor was located near the woods and a little bit away from the city. I chose to patrol the borders of my territory, the pace I set for our horses
