LYRA'S POV
As Lyra approached the door to Kael's office, she saw Hyme walking out, dressed in full gear like the first time she saw him. Her steps slowed as the distance between them closed.
Hyme glanced at her and nodded curtly before walking off. Her eyes trailed his movement until he disappeared around the corner. Where was he going?
Lyra rushed towards Kael's office and the guards immediately let her in. Kael was standing by the window, staring down at something in his hands.
"Kael," She called out to him and he turned around immediately.
"Lyra," He responded and she covered the distance between them, wrapping her hands around him.
