“Oh, please.” I heard a light chuckle and glanced up to see Madina staring at me as her eyes glinted with amusement, “You don't have to do all that. You are family now…” She paused and then stared between us, “Or at least I hope you are. Kalina hasn't been giving me the latest gist so I don't really know—”
“Ahhh, that woman!!!” Kael huffed and let out a string of cuss words that suddenly stopped halfway as he glanced at his aunt with a sheepish grin.
“You shouldn't cuss your sister out.” Madina shook her head disapprovingly.
