CHAPTER 62 LYRA'S POV I hurried across the room, shoving my legs into my flip-flops, as I dashed out through the door, down the hall, and skipped two stairs at a time. The door to the main entrance was already locked but I knew that if I knocked softly, the guard on the other side of the door would hear me and open up. “Open up, please.” The small sliding block at the top of the door shifted open and he peeped at me, “Please.” I urged, and a small click from outside echoed in the air.
