“Don't you think Lyra is acting a bit strange?”
I turned to Mirai, “How do you mean?”
“Don't you see it? The way she immediately stood up for Freya and the Boulevard mansion. It's like she knows something we don't know.” Mirai’s brows pulled in deeper, a concerned look on her face, her gaze was lost, not necessarily focusing on anything on sight.
“Perhaps. I still can't shake off the feeling that the person behind all this is from Boulevard.”
Yes, the flower could have come from other places, like the library, the playground, the paper house…it could be from any of those three but none of them had anyone with enough motive to kidnap Amethyst or kill Devon than the Boulevard house.
“Is that why you wanted us on the Boulevard search?”
