There was no doubt, the only person that could be responsible for this was my father. It might be a way of sending some sort of message, he was trying to make a statement.
Anger rose in me as we drove home, I remained silent. As soon as we got home, I unlocked the door for Lyra. “Go on in, make sure you lock the doors as well. I'll ring you when I'm done.”
“Are you going to see him? I don't think you should be doing so this late.” Lyra asked.
“Yes, but you don't have to worry, I'll handle this peacefully. Perhaps..” I said, maintaining a straight face
She sighed and reluctantly opened the door, stepping out afterwards. “Let me know as soon as you reach his mansion, also let me know when you leave.”
