Nobody knew for sure what had truly come to pass. The receptionist had told Ethan that Alex stayed in the hotel with a famous director and producer from England, that Wells dude, who had gone missing. Ethan could connect the dots but there were still too many holes. He hoped Alex would tell him himself. There was a movement in the corner of his eye and Ethan looked up. Alex was gazing back at him with the most beautiful eyes Ethan had ever seen. “Hey,” Ethan called out softly.
