She asked me, “So when can I visit your place? Who do you stay with?” I told her, “Well you can visit any day you want, but am still staying with my parent, except not in the same house because we have flats and I have my own room which I share with my kid brothers”. I replied back, “how about 3 of them?” She replied, “Babe, I said one or two, and since you seem to want more than one, then you can just get two of them, that all you need”

I replied, “Alright mom, I’ll just get two then”. She replied, “That’s my baby boy, now get some rest Hun, good night I love you so very much okay, xxx”. I replied back, “I love you too babe, I love you so much, have a good night and don’t forget to pray, xxx”. She replied, “I’ll pray for us, night, night, xxx”

Around 7am I was up and I sent her a good morning text message. 15 minutes later I receive a reply from her, “Morning my Ghost, my lovely and friendly Ghost, how did you sleep babe?” I replied, “I slept well, though my neck pains, I think I slept one side, I feel very tired babe”. She replied, “Yeah, I think you slept using one position, and you should avoid the pillow for few days, and I’ll buy you some pain killers okay, I’ll bring them to the shop”

I replied, “Okay thanks babe, you so caring, and yes please you should get me some pain killers because I feel very terrible right now, my head is heavy”. She replied, “Alright babe let me just finish up doing my house chores then I’ll go and buy you the medicine and I’ll bring it right to your shop.

I replied, “Alright my love, I’ll be waiting for you”. Around 9am she brought the medicine and she came along with a young lady, though she looked a little bit older than Maya, as soon as I saw them, I welcomed the both of them and gave them the seats, we sat to the barbershop area because it was the only free spot at the moment.

Maya smiled and said, “I had to look good for you babe, but I didn’t even take a bath when coming here, I just changed my clothes and washed my face”. I said, “Alright babe, anyway you always look beautiful, oh and did you manage to get the pain killer”

She said, “Yes I did babe, here you can have them and only take one pill because it’s a strong pain killer”. I said, “Well if it’s a strong medicine then why can’t I take two pills? Because I feel heavy right now”. Maya said, “No babe, why do you like taking thing overdose? How many energy drinks did you take this morning?”

I told her, “I only took two of them”. She asked, “Are you sure honey?” I answered, “Yes babe trust me”. She said, “I don’t know if I can trust you with that haha, anyway take the medicine right now I want to introduce you to my cousin”.

I said, “Its right about time babe, cause you just came and started lecturing me, which was rude because you didn’t give me a chance to greet her, anyways am sorry madam, let me just get water and take the medicine and I’ll be right back so we can know each other, please excuse me”

She was so sweet she said, “No need to apologize, I perfectly understand, please take your time, and take medicine, I’ll be here waiting for you”. Well I guess I didn’t listen to her, because I rushed outside going to the shops to buy a bottle of water, I also bought drinks for them, I came back and gave them drinks, and Maya made sure that I only took one pill of pain killer.

And when I was done taking the medicine, I told Maya, “Alright babe, so are you going to introduce me to her?” Maya said, “Sure, babe this is my cousin Diana, Diana this my Boyfriend Rashid”.

Diana said, “Nice to meet you Rashid, I have heard a lot of good things about you, and when I say a lot, I really mean a lot, and it’s good to finally meet the man that is making my cousin to have late night sleep, and you just look exactly as she described you, a handsome man, welcome to the family sir”

I smiled and I said, “Thank you so much Diana, am happy to meet you and to know you. You are welcome here and feel free to pass through anytime you want, and if you need anything, please don’t hesitate just come to me”. Diana responded, “Oh that’s sweet, thank you sir”. I said, “No problem Diana, it’s all good, we are family now”

Diana said, “true and am happy for you Maya, his a real gentle man”. Maya said, “Thanks Diana”. Diana responded, “You are welcome shorty”
