The kingdom of Moonvale had known war for many years.
People had lost their homes, families had lost loved ones, and everyone prayed for peace.
Among them was Lyra Ashbourne, a young woman with a kind heart and a strong spirit. Even though her mother was a healer, Lyra loved learning how to fight with a sword.
Her training partner was Cassian Vale, her childhood best friend.
Cassian was brave, caring, and always knew how to make her smile.
And without knowing it, Lyra had fallen in love with him.
But before she could tell him how she felt, war reached Moonvale.
On the last day of the battle, Cassian gave his life to save everyone.
His last words to her were:
"Live happily, Lyra."
Five years passed, but Lyra never forgot him.
One rainy night, while visiting his memorial, she saw a bright light fall from the sky near the old Moon Temple.
Inside the temple, she found a glowing crystal.
Then she heard a voice.
"You have one wish."
With tears in her eyes, Lyra whispered:
"I only want one more chance with him."
The crystal burst with light.
The world shook.
And time changed.
When Lyra opened her eyes, she was no longer five years in the future.
She was back in the past.
Back to the days when Cassian was still alive.
She rushed outside.
And there he was.
Smiling at her like nothing had happened.
"Morning, Lyra!" he called happily. "Ready for training?"
Tears filled her eyes.
Because she knew something he didn't.
