Chapter 9

Emily's POV

"Spread your love now! Happy valentines day! And I'm your cupid so to all those single ladies and single men put your name here and you will get your pair!" I said as I walk in the hallways bring pink bag.

I'm wearing my cheerios uniform and an angel headband on my head. I love valentines days and I will spread the love.

The others smiling at me as I walk in and some of them put their name in my bag. Tomorrow I will bring this bag again and let them pick up and whoever their get is their dates. Such a funny thing to do.

"What if I want to get in a pair with the cupid one?" Puck stops my way and smirks at me.

"As you know that I'm still dating with Sam. Well, I dont know. Our relationship is complicated now." I said to Puck. "Just put your name inside." I grin at Puck.

"Come on, Puck. Dont do this stupid things. We can have our valentines day together." Quinn suddenly interupts us and takes Puck's hand.

"Well have fun you both!" I said to them and walk off and wave them a goodbye.

Yes, my relationship with Sam is kinda awkward now. Sam is still considering that I'm his girlfriend when actually I told him that I wanna break up with him.

Sam's POV

I'm arranging my locker now. This is a valentines week and everyone is busy with pink, love, and many thing.

"Spread your love and find your valentines date!" Emily shouts as she walks in the hallways.

I just can roll my eyes and chuckles looking at this girl. She is the only girl that never embarassed and afraid to show who is she to other people. And today I have to tell her the truth that I'm in love with her.

That's the reason why I dont want to break up with her. Because she is mine and I want to make it official dating and make her as my real girlfriend not fake one.

"Sam, happy valentines." Mercedes suddenly standing next to me and give me a chocolate candy.

"Thank you." I smile at her and take that chocolate candy.

"Listen, I told Shane about us." Mercedes says to me.

"Then?" I frown.

"He was crying and I guess you should tell Emily about us so we can be together." Mercedes half-smiled at me.

"Mercedes, I-I cant. I tell you the truth now, we were fake dating. I was trying to help her in order to make Puck jealous but day by day changed and we spent a lot of time together and I feel that I'm in love with her. Because she is the only one who can understand me and everytime I'm around her, I can be myself. We can be kooky together and she is the only one girl that I see now. I'm so sorry. I dont mean to break your heart but I will tell Shane that we were nothing and you can go back together with him." I said to Mercedes.

"I already can guess that." Mercedes nodded.

"Guess what?" I raise my eyebrows.

"At the first you both dating, you both look awkward and kind of acting but then I can see that everytime you looked at her is different until I caught that you jealous with Puck when he protected Emily from The Warblers. We shouldnt start this. I've moved on and you too. This is valentines so let just spread your love and tell her that you love her before Puck get her back and you lose her." Mercedes smiles at me.

"It's okay. I understand that. I can talk to Shane again." Mercedes rubs my cheek and smiles at me then walks off.

I just half-smiled and looking her disappear. Yes this is my plan for today. I will tell Emily that I love her before Puck get her back and everything ruin.

I shut my locker and walk off to the choir room to have the glee club with the others and looking for this glee club assignment this week.

Emily's POV

"Why you put your name in my bag?" I frown at Mercedes.

"Because I'm single. You said that only single ladies and single men allowed right?" Mercedes grins at me.

"But you date that bulldozer...ups.. I mean, that big guy, Shane." I said to Mercedes.

"We broke up and I want you to force him to put his name here and match us because you said that you're a cupid." Mercedes chuckles.

"That's easy thing to do. Dont worry. Special offer, you can request but two chocolate candy for pay." I giggle.

Mercedes just giggles then give me two chocolate candy. "This is why Sam really loves you." Mercedes smiles at me and walks off.

Ugh why do I care? I'm just Sam's fake girlfriend and I dont have any guts to ask him the truth or anything.

But why it's like there is sparks inside my heart now? Am I happy or something? But this is weird because I dont feel any jealous at all when Quinn and Puck are flirting in front of me. Is this what some people called moving on?

Maybe. I dont know. Because Puck was my first love and my first boyfriend so I dont know about that and this is first time I feel that.

"Spread your love, lovers!" I shout as I get into the choir room.

"Who the hell are you?" Kurt frowns at me.

"That's it!" Rachel shouts and plays the drum as her and Finn are sitting in front of the drum.

"Okay, everybody, let's hear it for love! Your assignment for Valentine's week is to find and perform the world's greatest love songs." Mr. Schue walks in and writes 'World's Greatest Love Songs' on the white board. "Now, Regionals is next week, and we still need to raise $250 for costumes and hair spray." Mr. Schue turns around.

"Oh, God, not another bake sale." Kurt shake his head.

"If any student gives ten dollars, we will sing these "world's greatest love songs" to their Valentine. We will serenade each classroom.." Mr. Schue got cut off.

"No!" Santana cut Mr. Schue off.

"Yes!" Rachel says excitedly.

"Two years ago, we went room-to-room Christmas caroling, they threw food." Tina says.

Suddenly Sugar raises her hand and grins at us.

"Yes, Sugar?" Mr. Schue asks Sugar.

"Here's a spoonful of Sugar for you all: Don't sweat the small stuff, and it's all small stuff when you're rich. So, here you go." Sugar walks to the front and give some money to Mr. Schue.

"Take it!" Kurt glares.

Mr. Schue takes that money from Sugar. "Okay. Everyone, give it up for Sugar for paying for our FinalNet and cumberbunds!" Mr. Schue says to us.

We just can clapping and cheering happily because baked sale or any kind of fund raising during the valentines day will be sucks.

"I love the sound of applause, even if I have to buy it." Sugar grins and spreads her arms. "Okay, everyone, look under your chairs. Except you, Artie. Your chair kept moving, so I hid your surprise in the wastebasket." Sugar says to us.

I look at under my chair and there is a love box with chocolate inside. Oh hell no, this is my favorite one.

"V-Day is my fave day ever. And to help me celebrate, my daddy's throwing me a huge, ridic party at Breadstix. And I'm naming it the Sugar Shack." Sugar says to us. "And drumroll, Rachel" Sugar turns her face to Rachel and she plays the drum. "You're all invited! But you have to bring a date. No single people allowed. We just cheering happily and grin until I suddenly take a glances at Sam and he did the same until he turn his face away and pretend like nothing.

"Tell Emily Hudson to come to this place in five minutes because there is something that I have to talk." Sam says to me and hand me a little note then walks off.

I just frown then look at the paper he gave me. I read the paper and it's write science room 208 what is this? There is something that Sam really want to talk to me?

I walk to my locker to put all my cupid stuff. I take of my angel headband and put this bag inside my locker. I shut my locker then walk off.

I turn my way to the second floor to find that science classroom until I found that classroom and Sam is sitting there with holding a paper.

"Sam, what is this?" I walk in and look around as this room is already changed into a valentines room.

I keep look around until I see a alphabet balloons stick on the wall write 'I Love You E.H'

"Since we are never get a chance to sing a duet together so I want to sing a duet with you." Sam says to me and give me a music sheets.

"That's why I see the band here?" I chuckle.

The band start playing the music Sam and I sit down together on a table until he moves his seat closer to me.

I kiss his cheek then grin and walk off from that classroom. He is the sweetest guy that I've ever met and he always remember those little things I did and I like.

I'm laying flat on the sofa in the living room while watching tv and eating this Lucky Charms that Sam gave me.
