After the call with Serena, I decided to get ready. There wasn’t anything I was doing here that was pressing or urgent. I wished I had left sooner or at the very least stayed inside a little longer. Just as I opened the door, there standing in front of me was Demarion. My heart rate accelerated. He always had that kind of effect on me. This time it wasn’t good. “Going out love?”
Placing my hand over my heart I gave him a professional smile. “I’m not your love. And what I do is my business, not yours.”
