Daisy Dominic and I woke up early the next morning. I was eager to get showered and dressed in anticipation of my family’s arrival. I was eager to see everyone I had almost forgotten. Dad even said he was bringing Gracie. I missed my cousin as she is also my best friend. I stand in the front of a mirror, brushing my long, light blonde hair. I am wearing a lavender sundress and white sandals. Dominic’s mother gave me a nice pearl necklace to wear. I braid my hair and put on some light makeup. Dominic slithers up behind me and puts his arms around me. He is wearing a pair of dark jeans and a white button-up shirt. His red hair is slicked back, and his grey eyes sparkle as he kisses my neck. “You look beautiful,” He says into my ear.
