Nick wrapped Peter in a towel as he lifted the child from the tub. “Let’s get you dressed.”
“Okay.” Peter put his arms around Nick’s neck, resting his head on his shoulder.
Nick’s heart twisted. God, he wanted one of these. Yes, he hadn’t had s*x in more than twenty-four hours but their kids would be different. He’d teach them from a young age to go to bed when told and sleep through the night. He put Peter down on the toilet seat and grabbed the kid’s pajamas.
“I don’t want to go to bed.” Peter wrapped his arms around his chest, refusing to give Nick his arm.
