I recalled what she said again.
Pregnant.
Tears of joy burst out of my eyes.
Pregnant. I am Pregnant.
"C-Can I hear the heartbeat?" I asked, shaking in happiness. I’m having a baby! Finally! I’m having a baby!
She nodded at me and did something with the machine. I was too happy to even care of what she did. I hold on to my stomach, “Hello there my baby”
When she was done she pointed out where my baby is and I heard my baby's heartbeat.
She buzzed in to her secretary to call Vince.
When he came in. He saw me crying.
He held me by the shoulder, uncomfortable to see me cry. "Damn Katherine. What happened?!" He worriedly said.
"I'm pregnant Vince. I'm pregnant" I said in disbelief.
Vince hugged me tight and wiped my tears away. "Thank God" he said.
