Jeanne was getting clingier now because of what I said. I told him that it was a “hypothetical question”, and that it will not happen. It’s just this minute that he let me out of his sight. I told him to take a shower and he has to get ready to be tucked in in bed. I laughed at the thought.
He was still inside our bathroom when his phone rang—it was dad. I answered it right away, not really bothered that I did not told Jeanne about it.
“Hello dad?” I said, he did not speak right away. “K-kathy.” he mutter.
“Yes it’s me dad. Jeanne’s inside the bathroom. Do you need anything? I’ll give him the phone—“
“No!” he exclaimed. “No need for that. I just want to tell him that you should go here tomorrow. Everyone will be here in the Palace. Let’s celebrate New Year together, as a family” I smil
