“D-did you cheat on me?”
“God! No baby! I will never cheat on you” he pulled me into his arms and hugged me tight, like I was going to leave him anytime.
He cupped my face, his eyes looking at mine. “I can never do that baby. Please believe me. I love you please Katherine don’t leave me” he hugged me again like a little kid afraid to be abandoned.
“I don’t want you away from me.” He murmured. “I will do things to make it right. I love you baby. I do.”
“You’re scaring me Jeanne.” I truthfully said. “Tell me what’s wrong baby?” I said as I wipe his tears away. He was too drunk and emotional and so expressive for his love for me. Not all man do that.
He hugged me again like a little kid. “If I tell you, you will leave me” he said. “But I swear I never cheated baby. I never will.”
