`Revenge Queen

The game has just began.

Maxine walked in the principal's office,not bothered nor showing any signs of panic,"sir you called for me?"She turned to look at Mr.Paul who was at the couch in the office seething in anger.He could not hide the anger he felt,it was clearly showing on his face,which was as red as a tomato.

"Yes, Mr.Paul brought a complain here,he said you have no respect and embarrassed him infront of the whole class.Do you agree to the claim?"

"Why would I deny it?It is something I clearly did and I don't feel ashamed for it,neither will I apologize for that."Maxine said,not daring to deny the claim.

Seeing that Maxine was not planning to deny the claim,Mr Paul became more confident and gathered enough morale to add salt to the wound,"Mr Eric, she dared insult me with big words infront of the whole class,now I can't even go back to class with my head held high,"he paused for a while,then said,"I think we should give her a suspension as the first warning and then when she comes back,she should take a punishment,otherwise, if we let her go just like that,it will encourage the other students to act according to their will."

Maxine sneered ,"I bet Mr.Paul is not as embarrassed as Miss Pashti Kumal did,I bet you remember that Indian girl,don't you?"As he said this,she watched Paul's reaction closely and saw him becoming pale, and she smiled."Last year,on June 13th,I was just passing by when I saw..."

Paul shivered ,if this girl says anything about that day,his secrets and habits will be investigated ,so before Maxine could continue ,he quickly interrupted,"I hope we could solve this issue and get it over with,besides,this is the most important issue compared to something that happened a year ago,don't you think like that,principal?"

"I..."The principal had no idea how to go on with this,he couldn't say that Pashti's case was not important infront of a student.

"Principal Eric,do you also think a child who had been molested and embarrassed till he committed suicide is not an important matter?Besides,if I insulted Mr Paul,there should be a reason to it,why would a freshman girl like me start picking on him during my first day in class?"

The principal nodded,he felt that Maxine's statement was reasonable,"then,could you give the reason why you embarrassed Mr Paul infront of the class?"

"What do you think Mr Paul?Did I really embarrass you more than how Pashti was?"Maxine asked.

"I think we just had a small misunderstanding,she did not insult me that much,we can let it go for now."Paul said,in his mind he was planning on how to make her pay, he had to get rid of her before she exposes him to everyone.

Maxine could see through his thoughts,she had an idea of everything he was planning,"I don't think so,we should settle this matter properly,I insulted you and embarrassed you that you can't even raise your head infront of the class,right?"

Paul, could not refuse those words,he was the one who said that," I guess it's my mistake to give fake reports, besides,this is a small matter that we should not disturb the principal with.I guess the principal is too busy to solve this case."he paused and kept a hand on his chin,"how about we forward this case to the Dean instead?"He knew that if the Principal agreed to his suggestion,then the case will be completely done,because the principal won't follow up on it.

"What do you think,Maxine,"the principal asked.He had no problem with Maxine,infact,he knew Maxine was a bright student with a bright future, especially how she performed on the college entry exams.He liked bright students who worked hard and he hated those who bribe in order to get their way on top, that's why he granted Maxine a three months probation.She had to attend the class however she likes but she had to pass the exams.

Maxine had no problem with that,whether it was with the school dean or the principal,nothing will change,though she knew Mr.Paul wouldn't go forward with it due to the threat she had given him indirectly.She shrugged,"I don't care,whatever decision you make will be fine."

"Well then..."The principal said as he stood up.

"I will report it to the dean myself ,"Mr Paul cut in,"since I am the one who brought this case,I will forward it to the dean personally," he quickly added, trying to avoid suspicion.

"It's settled then,"the principal said,"if you may excuse me, I have a meeting with the school board on this semester's progress,"he stood up, picking up files and leading them outside the office.

Maxine walked out knowing that making this move,will change a lot of things in her life,first, in her previous life by this time she and Mary had been adopted by the Anderson's family because of the necklace Bernard gave to her,which she had handed over to Mary when she asked for it in the name of friendship. They had seen the necklace when Mary had put on the necklace and her pictures were on every banner and 3D screens announcing her o be the third student leading in the final exams, however, this time, her name did not appear anywhere,so she has to find a way to get the necklace back,"Maxine or whatever your name is..."

Maxine smiled and said,"call me Ariel." Anyway, that was her real name, Maxine was name given to her just to cover up her real name,she will think of a way to make her presence as Ariel Johnson be known as of now...

"I don't care who or what your name is,just be careful,this should be the last time you threaten me."Mr Paul said.

Maxine pretended to shiver,then smiled,"Mr Baldy,are you threatening or scaring a young female student!"She acted shocked,she then took two steps, closing the distance between her and Mr Paul,"Paul,I might be young but I don't take threat's lightly,"she walked around him two times then said,"how about we make it a challenge, you know, I have grown up to like challenges,especially with older men like you."She gave him a rye smile and walked away leaving Mr Paul balling his fists in anger.

"I never thought I would end up being challenged by a freshman student ,"he smiled sinisterly,"well, this should be fun,I will get the chance to play with her before I kill her."

After classes,Maxine called out for a cub and drove back to the villa, she noticed that she was being traced but she did not care,the security in that place was very tight, so they couldn't do anything to her,she paid for the cub fare and entered the her villa,only to hear noises from the inside,"Have you really been invited here or are you tracing my tracks?"She heard a female voice come from the inside.

"What do you mean tracing you, we are both Bernard's friend and he invited me too.Do you think you were the only ex-soldier in this country,I haven't even called Emcee back yet!"the man countered.

As Maxine heard that name, she froze..."Emcee,"she muttered the name.
