20 When Guy opened his eyes the next morning, clouds fogged up his window. The sun was nowhere to be found in the early morning light. It had been a rough night. He’d gotten plenty of sleep, but it was anything but restful. He was haunted by dreams of a voluptuous woman with eyes in the shape of a grin, caramel skin, and a lopsided smile. Every sense in his body had been engaged in the dream. His nose smelled her fresh linen scent. His mouth tasted her sweet musk. His hands felt the elasticity of her flesh. Now, in the absence of the dark of night, there was numbness in his fingertips and his head throbbed. Guy’s grumbling stomach forced him out of the bed.
