Cedric pushed the door open and there stood the little girl he had seen in Wolf Moon pack.
"Save me mate".
Her eyes were pitch black.
Cedric screamed.

"Cedric! Ced!"
Cedric woke up, panting heavily. His eyes looked haunted.
"You're okay now".
His breath was shaky as his brother leaned in to hug him.
"She....she"
"Shush. We can talk about this later. You're terrified and scared right now. You're probably tired. You need a hot shower, breakfast and some good thinking space. But I'd suggest you think first cause mum and dad may ask you a lot of questions during breakfast".
Cedric's eyes trailed to his brother's.
"You woke the whole castle".
"God!" Cedric muttered. Now everyone would be staring at him as though he were nuts.
"Don't worry. No one will think you're crazy. But if you feel unsafe, I could order for your breakfast to be brought up to you. Then we could take a walk in the gardens and you tell me what happened. Is that good?" Cedric could only nod.
"I'll leave you to your shower now".
With that, the Crown Prince walked out of his brother's room. Cedric threw his pillow to the wall. She was his mate and she was possessed. What they said about her was true. Tears fell down his face. The Prince's mate, possessed by dark magic. His parents would never allow that to be heard. Magic was a taboo to them and of all magic, all that could possess his little mate was dark magic!
He got up slowly and hit the shower, letting the water cascade down him. It was cold at first and then it got warm.
What did she mean by "they're coming for me"?
Cedric was restless. He heard a knock on the door.
"Come in".
He heard the door open and someone walk in.
"Your Majesty, the Crown Prince asked that I brought you breakfast". The maid spoke.
"You may drop it there and leave".
Cedric waited but he didn't hear her leave. Footsteps approached the bathroom.
"I said you may leave!"
"It's happening today". He heard the same little voice from his dream. He peed on himself.
"They'll come for me tomorrow".
"You have to save me".
He watched in horror as the door knob turned and the door opened slowly to reveal Eleora with pitch black eyes.
Cedric screamed in horror at the top of his lungs.
A knock sounded on the door.
"Your Majesty see you okay?" It was the voice of the maid that had brought him breakfast.
He turned to where Eleora had stood but she was nowhere to be found and in her place was a trail of blood that read SAVE ME.
Cedric passed out on the floor.

"What's going on with my son!" Queen Natasha cried.
Prince Lex stood, unable to utter a word. He knew what could be the reason but he couldn't utter a word cause he wasn't sure. Cedric had mentioned a "she" and he knew very much well who the she was. He knew it was Eleora. The little girl from Wolf Moon pack.
"I think it's just the nightmare he had". King Alaric spoke.
"You call that 'just'? For something to have our son screaming from midnight till day break, keeping us all awake and now he screams and passes out in the bathroom and you still call it 'just'? Something is scaring s**t out if him".
"Language around the kids Natasha".
"That's the least of my problems right now. I want my son to wake up and at least tell me what the problem is". She sobbed.
Cedric's eyes creaked open and on seeing his parents, he shut it immediately. He didn't want to face them yet. He wasn't ready. Lex, he could talk to. Just not the King and Queen. Lex of course had noticed his brother's eyes open and close. He smiled in understanding.
"Mother I think you should allow Cedric rest more. You need the rest yourself. I'll watch over him and once he wakes I'll come call you". Lex suggested.
"Lex is right. You need to let him rest. You're probably disturbing his subconsciousness. When he wakes, we'll be called". Queen Natasha didn't want to budge but after seeing her mate's pleading eyes, she stood up.
"Something is not right. I can feel it. But since you said to let him rest, I will. But my wolf is greatly disturbed". She spoke softly.
"Same as mine. I think we're just disturbed by our son's unusual behavior".
The minute their parents stepped out the door. Lex rushed to lock the door.
"You can open your eyes now Ced. I know you're awake".
Cedric opened his eyes slowly.
"How ya doing champ?"
All Cedric could do was shake his head.
"I leave you to have a shower, go order breakfast only to be called by the maid that you had passed out naked on the floor". Lex stared his brother deep in the eyes.
"She was here". Cedric croaked, looking away from his brother's eyes. His voice was hoarse due to all the screaming.
"Who was here?"
"The girl". He turned to face Lex. "The little girl from Wolf Moon pack".
"I don't understand. How? When? How did she get in to the castle? How did she even get your room? Past security and no one saw her?"
"I don't know Lex! She was here! That's all I know! After the maid dropped the food, I didn't hear her leave the room so I opened the bathroom door and I saw the girl standing there". Cedric buried his face in his palms.
He knew he sounded like a lunatic right now. No one would believe him.
"Wait. Did she disturb your dream as well?"
He nodded.
"And she kept saying the same thing. That they're coming for her. This time, after I screamed and the maid's voice came from outside, I turned but she was no longer there. Just a trail of blood that spelt “save me”. That's when I lost consciousness".
"But we didn't see any trail of blood. What else did she say to you? Did she say who's coming for her?"
"She didn't say anything. Just kept saying I should save her that they're coming for her and....." Lex cut him short.
"Why did she choose you. Why you exactly?"
"I don't know. She just said it's happening today and they're coming for her tomorrow. She called me m...."
An arrow whizzed through the air and pierced Lex's back. The tip appeared from his heart. He vomited blood.
Cedric screamed as loud as he could.
"Ced". Lex muttered and fell from his seat and on the bed.
A guard rushed in.
"My brother....my brother has been shot". Cedric stuttered.
When the guard saw the arrow sticking out of the Prince's back, he screamed, alerting everyone.
Cedric turned to the window but there was no one there.
His parents came rushing in and Cedric watched the color drain from their face when they saw his brother's bloodied body. His mother screamed and for the first time since he was born and knew his right from wrong, he saw his father broken with a haunted look on his face.
Cedric watched everything happen in a blur. His mother's screams echoed in his ears. Lex's lifeless body was carried out of his room.
Eleora's voice echoed in his head.
‘It's happening today’.
It started making sense.
But.
Did Eleora kill his brother?
