Yn was sitting alone,near the black lake,
Her hand having Cornish pasties wrapped in the tissues.yn was still thinking about the nightmares she recieved.
She was doing well in her academic era here also,ofcourse she is the golden girl who took the glory,ate it and left no crumbs but did anyone asked her if she is fine,never.no one does.
And her own thoughts will be the reason of her death one day.
Yn looked down at the food in her hand,
She had taken the pleasure to skip divination,transfiguration and charms.
Her mind wanted some peace and she took it by sitting alone leaning on a tree trunk.
Her bag dumbeldore had helped to cover as a leather sling bag that gave the vibe of 90s held her books she wished to take and some needed things,that she never left in her dorm room.
Another sign left her lips,as yn thought to take her knees close to her chest,the robe slipping off of her thigh,yn was comfortable with her propped legs,as she had wored leggings than skirt,Her anklets making a soft voice at her actions.
A soft growl or like whimper caught her attention,startled by the voice yn jumped slightly and turned around to see who it was.
It was black dog,deerhound.yn was basically very curious about animal's and their families that were extinct and some that were on the end to vanish,and
Having a thoughtful research about the breed who played such a good role in the movie,yn didn't think even a single thought and knew which breed it was.
"Oh,you."yn mumbled under her breath.
She smiled at the dog,hoping it to be the person she is wishing to,the dog who was growling once now went calm and took slow steps towards her,"are you hungry."
Yn asked,placing her untouched food down carefully with the tissues.
The dog grumbled as if he was indeed hungry and happily munched on the food,yn petted him.she liked dogs more than cat's,she was even having a husky as her gift for 18th birthday.
"You are so dirty,atleast take a bath."the dog barked at yn,who grinned.
"Come on.i am not as easy to fool as you think."yn grinned mischeviously.by the way he sat beside her after he was done eating,yn had a thought if he was actually the dog or not.
A dirty and mischevious idea hit her mind and she hold the hands-paw of his at the front,he looked calm thinking she was playing with him,but when she made him stand up and checked his gender,he barked at her and yn quickly let go.
Laughing slightly,"I was just making sure about you,so I can name you.well-hey."
Yn grumbled as the dog pushed her slightly,and she did the same.
"Don't push me,so.i have a name,for you,
Bark twice if you like it.what about padfoot."he barked once and yn smacked his head hard.
"You didn't liked it."yn grumbled,glaring at him who barked at her again."you ungreatful brat,sit here.silently."yn snapped her fingure at him and he sat as she said,playing with leaves that were fallen down.her hand caressed his fur gently,"you must have went through so much,don't you."
"Playing with dogs,now,ain't you.dumpimg classes,that's not what a smart student like you should do,now Smith."
Yn looked back but to roll her eyes only when she saw Malfoy,the dog beside her barked at him,gritting his teeths at him,
"Merlin,can't i even sit here."yn patted his head in order to calm the dog and he did,barking a few times at Malfoy who leaned on the tree trunk at a small distance from yn.
"What got you here."
"I can ask you the same."yn looked at Malfoy not intending to tell him anything.she can't tell him she came from an odd timeline.
Time is tricky,but this was a big trick.
"Being here is-peaceful."yn hummed at his response,not catching with the calm and steady reply he wished to give her.
"Indeed."yn muttered knowing it was more on for her.
"So,are the rumours true.you and potter-
Yn chuckled loud at it,waving her hand.
"Don't go up hyped Malfoy.rumor's run through the walls of this castle and more fast than nimbus's newly launched model.i barely know him to even date him."yn explained with as kindness as per he had kept in asking the question.
"I thought you liked potter also."
"I don't,as a sick crush.genuinely,I don't,
he is none than a friend."yn smiled looking at the soft blue coloured sky,
Remembering she had dated someone for a bare month and how it ended up.
A bit awakard,but good.they are still friends.
"Everyone does tho.like potter."
"What about you."yn laughed when she saw the grossed out face of Draco."I'm as hell as sure am straight."at that,yn looked offened.
"Do you not support—homosexual relationships."yn found it hard to match words,many words that were developed for the non-straight people's like rainbow community,was too new for this timeline.
"Why would I not.i don't have to do anything.it's their life."Draco mumbled,
Picking up a leaf fallen down on the ground.
"Indeed.other's life isn't our's.we shall let them do what they wish,bad or good.till they realise what is wrong and what they did.they will live in regret.it's enough of a punishment."
"What's up with you,all hysterical.you are talking like a genuine today."yn sweared she saw his lips twitch up.
"Come on,malfoy.you know I won't mind switching my roles.you yourself ain't bad.i heard how many girls swoon over you.i won't take the pleasure to join them tho."yn chuckled,hearing Draco following her behind.
"Don't even do that.they are dumb.doing whatever fake things i tell them to do and believe whatever i'd say.and you,act like you don't have many boys at your back.did you forget,your arrival actually made many boy's crazy."
"Get off,Malfoy."
"Can you,Smith."
They both fell into silence.peaceful silence,between them.for a second,yn thought he might start liking her like in many stories she had seen and she would do nothing but feel sorry if he did.
But being not at all beautiful made her chuckle at her mind.a handsome boy,even tho he was a big brat and a bully,his charm was gorgeous and on other hand,yn knew she didn't stood a chance for anyone here present nor she should.
But she was much too dense to even realise if he liked her or she did the same to him.she was just soo selfless to even understand such silly things.
Being in a middle class family where for her mother,small affection meant so much from her father,and then,she found it cute,how even after so many things,her father no matter the greed and l**t evaporing him,he stayed loyal to her mother,so to not hurt her.
And it was only one goal of yn,to impress her father whose silent hopes were eating her slowly inside.and if seen,
Draco did the same.he was greedy for his father's affection,the proud feeling in his eyes that might make us jump in joy no matter how much hard you try to be a heartless and cold person.
"How'd you do that."Somehow,they both were successful in syncing together.
draco and yn looked at each other,
witnessing the going on hurt in each others eyes.Their brain incapacitate to say anything.
"what-do you mean."he asked,a look that matched with her lingering in his eyes.
"I was raised in an old fashioned family,
Not much affection to show and the greed to shine bright in my dad's eyes.it hurts when you can't cope up with that.
You know,can't make him proud."a bitter chuckle left yn's mouth.
Draco followed her bitterness,"I guess it's never enough,by how much we try.we fail.i failed many times.but it feels insecure when they say out loud,their feelings and we hide it under our hearts."
"You are upto that.i had faced it also."

"Where is the dog."
"Here-oh-i don't know,must have gone somewhere."
"We can't be carefree like them,can we."
"I guess not."
