Dangerously in Love

CHAPTER 14: FUTURE

The next day after the Psychic Chat, she begins to feel hopeful about their future together. She believes in what the psychic chat says. So she's feeling positive about their relationship.

At 10:20 PM, without her waiting, he texted her, "Hello baby. How are you doing? You look different. Where did you go to? I see you went to the gym."

Two minutes later she chatted him up, "I thought you forget about me haha... I went to see a movie."

He replied, "I might not keep up with that all the time. I might be very busy. And sometimes would not be able to call."

She replied, "This is an old pic hehe...That's okay... but just letting you know. I'm doing good, in my bed right now... how are you doing?"

He then added, "I would try to call when am free."

She's confused, "Like today or in general?" but he didn't reply to her about this.

He then replied, "I'm at the office. I've been busy with work. Haven't even touched my phone since morning."

She asked him, "How was your headache?"

He said, "Feeling much better."

She replied, "That's good... prayed for you last night x"

He replied, "I guess it worked. How have you been? I have missed you. What have you been up to?"

She replied, "I've been good, keeping my self busy. I miss you too. I'll be coming home to Bogor this Friday. Will see my parents and spending the weekend with them."

He replied, "To see your parents?"

She replied, "Yes. And to discuss things like Airbnb business or something like that."

He replied, "I see... This weekend would be fun then..."

She replied, "Hopefully and I'm planning to stay there for a week before I come back to Jakarta. Won't be any Netflix for me hahaha... because, in Bogor, I can't watch Netflix due to what my parents have internet wise. Their service provider blocked Netflix so I can't watch it there. It should be interesting. So tell me about your day. What you've been up to besides you are in the office?"

He replied, "I see. You probably watch TV. Not much. Just trying to make out the best of my day. I left for work early in the morning."

She replied, "What time?"

He replied, "8 AM."

She replied, "I see... been very stressful for you today?"

He replied, "Oh yes, I have been trading. When is time for business, I give it my all."

She replied, "I see... No wonder you didn't touch your phone today :) I miss you."

He replied, "I miss you more. Just wanted to check up on you before it gets too late. I don't want you to keep you up for long."

She's in awe as to what he's saying, "That's very thoughtful of you."

He then replied, "I had you in mind."

They then discussed the recent picture that she sent him, where she wears light and heavy makeup and he replied, "Yes, I love the picture and I appreciate them. You looked beautiful and pretty and different."

She attached her recent chat with the psychic and asked him, "Have you read what the psychic said?"

He replied, "Yes I read all she said."

She asked him, "What do you think?"

He replied, "I'm not happy. So you needed a psychic to give you a sort of assurance? You did not take my word for it. It really hurts. That's the reason I waved the question."

Careful, she replied to him, "I had too. Because you don't want to have a live video call with me and with my past experience before it gets really scary. So I have to ask the psychic and I'm sorry if I hurt you on this :( I hope you can forgive me?"

He then replied to her, "It's fine. It's all good."

She still doesn't believe him, "Really? Because you say it' fine then it's not actually fine. I feel bad."

He replied, "Baby, it's fine. Just take my word for it. This relationship means a lot to me. I'm not in for jokes. I love you and I'm coming to you soon."

She replied, "Me too... that's why I want to prove to everybody that says or give me a warning about you, that's not true, and to prove that is by a video call but you want to surprise me so that's fine by me. I love you too and I'll be waiting for you. I know it's 6 weeks from now."

He simply replied to her, "Yes, baby."

She added, "This is also the reason why I asked about you to the psychic :) I can't wait. On our last phone call, you want to make me wait. This is really killing me. Because everything will be cleared up when we meet right....?"

He then replied to her, "Everything baby. You would see things for your self. I'm not the kind of man that would waste time doing something that I'm not sure of. This really means a lot to me, that is why I'm here. I know what I want. I'm certainly going for it. I'm not in a rush, I'm taking things one step at a time."

She replied, "I know I've asked this before, but I need a reassurance why are you so sure about me? About us? We just met like two weeks ago which is for me is really fast but if God's willing then it will happen."

But then he ignores this question.

She then added, "When you are here, I would like to get to know you even more."

He replied, "Same here. I would love to know you more."

She replied, "What is your plan when you are here? I would like to know."

He then replied, "1st, a big hug from you and a kiss."

She replied, "Hahaha of course! and then?"

He then replied, "After which I would go book a hotel." She then recommends him, a hotel near her apartment.

He added, "Drop off my stuff. I see. It's no problem. As long as it's comfortable and suitable for me."

She replied, "It's a good hotel :) then we can chat yeah? How long do you think you want to stay in Indonesia?"

He replied, "A short while. I have so many engagements after that conference in Australia. As I told you, we are moving as a team. 3 Days. That's how long I'm going to stay in Indonesia."

She replied, "Whoa, three days. That should be interesting but I believe it would be meaningful as well."

He replied, "Yeah, three days. Yes, I know."

She replied, "Can't wait. I'm getting excited already haha."

He replied, "Same here. I can't wait to finally meet you."

She replied, "Aww me too. On a daily basis, I'm like a tomboy girl. I don't wear makeup often but on special occasion only."

He replied, "Meeting me is more than special then. I don't like tomboys. It's a huge turn off for me. I guess that would change."

She is confused, "What change?" and then added, "You like a girlie girl right?"

He replied, "Not really. I love girls that look moderate."

She replied, "What else do you like in a girl?"

He replied, "Neatness. I admire that."

She feels intrigued by this question so she is curious and asked him for more. "What else?"

He feels annoyed over her question, "We have discussed all of this before. But all the same."

Selah.

The next day, she opens her i********: and finds out that Ivan has commented on a random girls page, "You're hot"

Furious about this, she texted him carefully, "Baby, I found out that you commented on a sexy girl photo on Insta. I'm sorry but I don't appreciate this. I mean are we exclusive or in an open relationship?"

He then replied to her, "I see. That's just a comment. But it's fine. Since it's something you don't like. Noted."

She can feel there's this tense and awkwardness between them.

He then added, "I'm sorry tho. Have to go back to sleep. Bye."

Eight hours later, she then feels guilty over her protectiveness towards him. So she texted, "I'm sorry about this, didn't mean to be like this. It's just the culture in Asia here, it's different than the US culture so the mindset it's different as well. I guess we are learning about each other now."

He just replied her with, "I see."

She then texted him, "How's your day been?"

He replied to her, "My day has been fine. Going well. How's your day been? Hope your day went well."

She still feels like it's a bit cold coming from him but she ignores the feeling.

She then replied to him, "I made a new podcast episode today :) and sending emails to the artist agency for our next concert. It's been going well."

He replied, "I see. That's good. When is the next concert?"

She replied, "Sometime in December maybe, it's still a prospect. It's for Gareth G and Zayn Hudda. We are just sending the email to know if they're interested to come to Jakarta."

He replied, "Hmm... that's cool."

She added, "It's part of my job as PA."

He asked her, "What exactly is your role as a PA? The artist you bring how much do you pay to them? Does the artist from the states come?"

She replied, "PA is a personal assistant to my boss, so we are working together in doing emails, asking the artist management about the artist availability if they're interested to come to Indonesia or not, making an introduction email, helping my boss in artist booking stuff like that and I'm able to work remotely from my home :) For prices wise, it's what my boss are dealing not me. And yes I've worked with Charlie Puth before when he came to Indonesia."

He replied, "Wow, that's interesting."

She then asked, "Do you know Westlife?"

He replied, "Of course, I do."

She then attached her recent picture with her artist including Westlife and added, "Westlife was my childhood idol so to be able to work with them is a dream come true and if there's an event or a concert - I'll be their hospitality tour manager like a liaison officer to the artist."

He replied, "That's so cool. You have met a lot of artists."

She replied, "Yes I have :)"

He replied, "I like the picture. So would you be inviting any artist from the States in your next concert?"

She replied, "We're supposed to invite Loren Allred who sings Never Enough from the States but got postponed due to Coronavirus. And we want to invite JB to Indonesia for the tour but his management said he doesn't tour internationally."

He replied, "I see. I do know some artist here in the states. We do have a very good relationship. I could link you up with them if you are interested."

She's curious, "Who is it?"

He then begins to tell her, "I'm friends with Dr. Dre."

She's amazed by his answer, "Whoa that's really cool."

He replied, "Oh yeah, I meet him a couple of times. Yeah, and I happen to bump into few other people through him. Likes of Candice B. You could discuss it with your boss. If he's interested, I can make it happen. Next concert."

She replied, "I'd normally discuss with my boss, if he's interested, then I'll let you know."

He replied, "Ok then."

She replied, "So do you know Dr Dre personally or through his manager?"

He replied, "Your job is an interesting one. I know him personally and also his management"

She replied, "Haha yeah... that's why I love it. I see."

He then replied to her, "Oh yes... btw, I have to be on my way to work. Would be going to the office. Do take good care of your self. I love you, baby.

She replied, "Thanks baby, you too. I love you. I miss your voice btw but we can chat later x"

He replied, "Same here, bye."

She replied, "See you soon. Take care x"

As she's getting excited about their future, she begins to sleep and smiling happily because of their conversation about the future today.
