"What may be the problem over here?" I asked.
The vain woman's eyes widened in shocked then she quickly masked it with a nonchalant look.
"I don't know, ask this rat of an employee why she chooses to disrespect and bully me. I don't know what I did to but she started sprouting nonsense and insults when I asked for directions. " The woman whined, burying her head in the man's shoulder.
"N-no! That's -" the employee started saying when I cut her off with my hand.
She looked so pale, and a cold sweat formed on her forehead.
Poor child, she looked so frightened.
I offered her a small smile, which made her sport a confused look, then turned to face the couple.
"Miss Grace, are you sure that's the full story?" I asked with a smug look.
