What had it been? A week? Whatever, it still felt like yesterday since I got marked.
Glancing at my neck, I traced the diamond and moon-shaped mark that sat pretty on it and a smile crossed my lips. It was so fulfilling to have been marked. It automatically erased all my insecurities about my relationship with Brian.
Now, I knew that no one could come in our way at all.
The door ws suddenly pushed open and I flinched, glancing at it to catch Raina walk in.
"Look who finally decided to show up," I pointed out. She hadn't returned to the dorm because she had been spending time with Tone at his new apartment, doing heavens know what. I internally shook in horror.
She scurried in, grinning from ear to ear.
"I know you missed me." She nudged my shoulder.
"You wish." I rolled my eyes.
