"The day he found you, his joy knew no bounds. He's a great guy with some trust issues, but I'm sure he'll do anything for you, so please, don't give up on him. He'd be broken and shattered if anything ever happens to your relationship."
"Nothing will," I assured. "Wow, thank you so much for letting me know."
"Of course, no problem. Anytime. Yeah, also, ignore his attitude. He's hurt, yeah, but this is a really tense moment of his life. His whole life has been to get the Alpha position that had been stolen for generations. Now, he's able and will become Alpha, but he has to cut some bridges.
"How's that going?"
"Well..." He shrugged. "Apparently, the current Alpha is getting old, so he is transferring the throne to a new Alpha. We plan on discussing with the new Alpha to seek a truce.
