Jacob's POV: "Hey honey", I said when Jessica called me early the next day, I was getting ready to go pick up Ally. I hated to go behind her back, but my mother was pressuring me and said I need to have an heir by the next year and a half before my father's 60th birthday so I will attract more potential clients. "Hey, how are you?" She asked. "Good, how's Italy?" "Lovely, you know this because you been here already", she laughed. Jessica was a part time model and a travel agent; she was currently working in the Europe area. This travel agent will come in good when we're going on our honeymoon, she will know where we should definitely go. "Yeah I am, how is the modelling?" "Good, we have a new winter wear for next month before Christmas to display, how is your new hotel?" "Good, many people are already coming in to the Santa Monica area." "I told you there was the perfect place to build, people love the beach and like to stay an all exclusive hotel", she said. "I'm happy I listened to you", I told her. "Yeah for once." I rolled my eyes. "Anyway I got to go", I said to her. "Yeah, its morning there well I'll leave you to it. I love you." "I love you too." I hung up. I finished got ready then drove down to Santa Monica to pick up Ally to carry her to our new private obstetrician, Dr. Wilson she was the best private obstetrician my secretary told me. When I arrived at Ally's area, I called her and told her I was outside. I decided to stay in the vehicle because I don't want to draw any attention to us. Ally came into the car five minute later, "hey", she smiled. "Hey, are you nervous?" She nodded. "Don't be, you'll be okay", I assured her and squeezed her hand for comfort, she smiled, "did you eat?" I asked. "Yeah and well rested, I can't wait to see the apartment", she admitted. "You'll love it because on the roof it has a pool which all the resident who lives in that building share", I smiled. "I don't mind once it has a pool", she shrugged. *** "Good morning Mr. Brown and Ms. Anderson, right this way please", the nurse greeted us and led us to Dr. Wilson's office. We entered and Dr. Wilson smiled, "I'm so happy you have decided to come to me for this important event." "I heard you were the best", I confessed. She laughed, "of course, have a seat on the small bed Mrs. Anderson and I'll ask you a few questions before we begin", she told Ally. "Do I need to step out?" I asked. She nodded and I left. 20 minutes later "You can come back in while we wait for her result", Dr. Wilson opened the door and I entered. "How you're feeling?" I asked Ally who was lying down on the bed with a cotton pressing against her skin at the front of her elbow joint. "Alright just a little anxious", she confessed. "That's normal, are you sure you want to use your egg?" Dr. Wilson asked her and she nodded/ "That's good because you're due to ovulate tomorrow", she smiled, "which makes the process so much easier." "There's a high chance that she will get pregnant?" I asked. "Yes a very high chance, the sperm will definitely meet the egg when it is release", she explained. "Do I need to get a check up as well?" I asked. "No you're good to go and you produce a high quality so that's great news." I saw Ally blushed, I'm sure she learn about the baby making process in high school. The result came back thirty minutes later. "Your hormone levels are high which means that your body is getting ready to release the egg soon and is expecting fertilization to take place just like every month", Dr. Wilson explained. "And if it doesn't that is how my period comes", Ally added. I learned all of this in high school, our school made sure that this topic was added so we don't make any mistake and get our girlfriend unexpectedly pregnant. "Time for the second part of the process, this is where you come in Mr. Brown", Dr. Wilson turned to me. "What do I have to do?" "In order for a lady to get preg-" "I know now", I cut her off and I was shown to a private room to do my business. 20 minutes later "When you start getting the symptoms I told you about, give me a call so I can start you on your vitamins you'll need to take and schedule appointments I'll be making for you", Dr. Wilson told Ally, "and Mr. Brown make sure she eats small meals when she start experiencing morning sickness", she added. I nodded. "Have a good day and good luck." We left. "How you're feeling?" I asked Ally when we sat down in the car. "Normal, but I'm mind of hungry though", she said. Me too, let's have lunch at my place", I suggested. "What about my things to move?" "I have men who will move everything, after we eat I'll show you your new apartment", I told her. "Sounds good", she agreed. *** "Welcome to your future home in about seven months", I said when the elevator open to my penthouse. "Wow, your baby will love it here", she gasped. "I'm thinking about moving once the baby is born to a nice home in Beverly Hills, away from the busy city. I already have my eyes on a small mansion I saw there when I was house shopping", I informed her. "Will I be decorating the baby room here or there?" "There, once the pregnancy is confirmed then I'll buy the mansion", I told her and she nodded. "Does Jessica know you're planning to move?" "Yes because when we're married I don't think she'll want to be living in a penthouse, she always said she wants to live in a place she can call home and raise a family." "Nice, I hope she likes your son or daughter", she sighed. "You mean our son or daughter, the baby is part of you too." "What if the baby is born with my color eyes? People will know for sure that's not Jessica's baby, what if she goes to the media when she finds out I'm pregnant with your child? It'll cause a bi-" "Hey calm down, Jessica wouldn't do that, she's not like that", I assured her. "And I plan to give him or her that and nothing less", I said and led her to the living room, "you relax while I prepare something for us to eat." "You can cook?" She looked shock. "Yes, I'm not just a pretty face", I smirked, "my mother made sure I can take care of myself and my family in case something goes wrong." "That's nice of her, how many siblings do you have?" "Four, I'm the eldest unfortunately", I sighed, "I have three younger sister and one brother." "Whoa, three girls." "Yeah and I had to play the protective brother role to all of them since my younger brother is only seventeen." "And your sisters' ages?" "The one right after me is twenty five and the fraternal twins are twenty one going to get twenty two in January" , I answered. "No way, my sister is twenty one as well", she stated. "That's nice", I nodded. I went to the kitchen and start on lunch for us. 1 hour and a half later "Mmmm this is delicious", Ally said as we ate lunch, I made grilled steak with cooked potato and rice and a fresh salad. "Thanks, this is the only dish I can make really good", I confessed. "Still better than nothing, my ex couldn't cook for nothing", she chuckled. "Poor guy couldn't show off to his girlfriend with his amazing cooking skills." "Jessica is lucky she has you, you can cook for her anytime", she stated. "Lance can cook better between the both of us, so you're the lucky one", she blushed, "I can tell you really like him, but he likes you just as much. I was surprised when I got a call saying that my best friend did book into my hotel in Santa Monica for the weekend and I wondered if you had anything to do with that." She shrugged and blushed. Lance was so whipped, I never seen him like this before even when he was with his fiance although they didn't had no feelings between them. "I'll be going to Phoenix to visit my family and will be back on Saturday, if you start to fell unwell contact Dr. Wilson then me", I said to Ally. "Your parents are living Phoenix?" She inquired and I nodded. "Yes they recently moved there when my father resigned, I'm from San Jose and went to the same private school as Lance that's how we became best friends", I explained. She nodded. "Why you chose to study so far though?" "Best university in the states plus my father attended there and I wanted to get out of California badly", I added. "Well I'm from Pennsylvania but I attended university in California", she pointed out. No argument there. ______________________
