The following morning, after breakfast, Shemar, Emrys, and Kaimana are on the porch. They're waiting for Malea, Boon, Uriel, and Marquery. Shemar wants to know more about his great-grandfather. He also wants to know if they knew his enemies and any humans whom he trusted.
Lalani walks on the porch, pointing at Emrys, "Your son is a mess. He has my things dangling in the air. At first, I would put them back up. Alessio kept laughing at me. So I gave up. But he's a sweet baby."
"Sorry, I forgot to warn you and Alessio about that." Kaimana smiles, looking at Emrys. "We're more concerned about our little one pulling a disappearing act."
