Shemar is still reading to Emrys when Kaimana enters the room. Emrys's feet are in the air, and he's hitting them with his bottle. She sits across from Shemar, listening to him read to their son.
"I thought he would have been asleep; he seems to be enjoying it." Shemar glances at Kaimana.
She smiles. "I received a call from that dingbat Luna. Gunther was there. I could hear him breathing, sounding like a wild hog. Sarah lied, thinking she could discourage us from visiting Linwood's pack. I'm going to take a bubble bath. You and our son enjoy your book." Kaimana kisses Emrys's forehead and gives Shemar a peck on his lips.
