Shemar went into netural territory with Alessio, Alika, Edge, and Devale. Malea wanted them to take some warriors with them.
But Shemar and Alika said they can handle it. She told Boon to talk to their son and Alika. Boon says they know what they're doing. He wasn't happy about Shemar going without him. He also had a feeling the five men were up to something.
Kaimana wanted to train, but Shemar insisted that she wait another week. Even if she is healed, he wants her to ease her into training. She can't stop thinking about the banshee calling her. Now she's in her office researching everything about banshees. Even if she and Alika read about them when they were younger, Kaimana feels that she has forgotten something.
Namakaesha and Shiloh are in the den with Emrys. Shiloh is planning to visit an old friend who may know more about the powerful ones. Hopefully, this person can tell her who her grandson will have to face and when.
He knows she's worried about their grandson, and he also plans to visit an old friend. Namakaesha looks at Emrys, who is sleeping in the cradle. "Sweetheart, I know I'm repeating myself. We'll find out every detail before it's time for whatever is coming our way.
Bronte called Namakaesha, excited about finding a new mate. So far, he doesn't see anything bad about her. But he still wants her to meet Kaimana. Casually, of course, he doesn't want Marigold to know that Kaimana is reading her. After what happened with Ginerra, he can't take the chance of putting his sons' pack in danger. Bronte meant to ask Namakaesha about it before he marked and completed the mating process, but he got caught up in the moment.
Shiloh heard the conversation; she's happy for Bronte and understands why he wants to be cautious.
Kaimana enters the room. "Mother, last night I dreamed the Banshee was communicating with me. She wasn't screaming." She looks at her parents. "She needed my help. For some odd reason, I believe I'll need her help soon, also."

Willy Carter and Don Rimes arrived in Nanakuli yesterday. They were there to meet Kronosto to celebrate his win over Kaimana. When they arrived, they learned that Kaimana was still alive. None of Kronos's men were anywhere to be found, Willy says Kaimana's pack must have killed them.
Don said they'll eat before leaving Nanakuli. Willy agreed about eating, but he had no intention of leaving. He wants the head of the woman who took his friend's head.
"You keep saying woman. Why are you so sure it was Kaimana who beheaded Kronos?" Don walks into a restaurant. "Coffee. I need some coffee."
Willy explained that it had to have been her since Kronos said they were attacking her pack. But more so because he wanted her head. Something about Kaimana's superior fighting skills is beyond anyone he has ever come across.
"I hate to be the one to tell you, but you can't put much stock into anything Kronos told you. He's our friend, but most of the time he's out there. Once he thinks something, there isn't anything or anyone who can change his mind. I've never heard anyone saying Kaimana's name and immortal in the same sentence. If she were immortal, why is there only talk about her pack being attacked by werewolves, vampires, and other creatures? Kronos is the only person who said she's one of us." Don pours some cream into his coffee. "That woman is a werewolf and nothing else."
Willy is still convinced that Kaimana is an immortal. Don says he's a damn fool, and he gives up. Then both men feel a buzz. They looked around the diner and shook their heads.
"Kronis is alive. He took that b***h's head." Willy is walking toward the door.
Don takes a couple more sips of his coffee, puts some money on the table, and leaves.
Willy looks around for Kronos, but his eyes stop on Shemar.
Shemar's staring at him and then glances at Don. "I didn't come for either of you. Don't get me wrong, I'm not running away either. I'm Alpha Shemar Iwalani. If you want to take this somewhere private, then let's do it. "
Don tilts her head a little to the right and taps Willy's shoulder. "Tell me if I'm wrong. Isn't he mated with Kaimana?" He looks at Willy because he hasn't said anything.
"Since the asshole seems to be lost for words, I'll answer you. Yes, Alpha Kaimana is my mate. Now what the hell is it to either og you?" Shemar looks at Don and snarls.
Alika walks beside Shemar. "Are these bastards here for my sister?" He looks at the two men up and down and turns his nose up.
Willy points to Alika. "So, your b***h brother. And she's still alive. That means she took Kronos's head. "
"Mutherfucker, don't call my wife a b***h, you f*****g pussing." Shemar grabs Willy by his shirt collar, "If humans weren't around, I would rip your ass up. For the record, I'm the one who killed Kronos. You want me to take your head like I took his punk as head?"
Don looks at Alika. "We didn't come for you. Besides, you're not one of us."
"Oh, you mean I'm not immortal. " Alika smirks. "I'm immortal. But from a different vintage. " He extends his fangs.
"Ah, vampire. So you are immortal." Don chuckled. "Come back when you have statues."
Devale, Alessio, and Edge chuckled, shaking their heads, looking at Don.
"That's where you're mistaken, I have statues. Your ass, don't. I'm the future king of all vampires. What the hell are you?"
"School, his stupid ass brother." Shemar's staring at Willy.
Don doesn't have anything else to say. As for Willy, it just came to him that Kaimana is immortal but not as they are. Now he doesn't want hr head, he wants Shemar's head.
Shemar laughs, "Damn, it took you slow ass long enough to figure it out. Now come on, let me detach that small ass head from your pruny body. You know they saw people with big heads are intelligent. You just proved that theory right. Because your little pee head is dumb as hell."
Willy points down the woods. Shemar tells him to lead the way.
Alika looks at Don. "Do you feel lucky?"
"Bring it, little man." Don points at Alika.
"I've got your little man, son of a bitch." Alika motions for Don to walk ahead of him.
"It's now who we were looking for. But it will do. " Alessio is walking behind Shemar and Alika with Edge and Devale next to him.

Kaimana is in the den with Emrys, waiting for Shemar to return, when Bronte, Marigold, and Keenen arrive. She had no idea they were coming. Bronte introduced his mate and stepson to Kaimana and said he came to see her father.
"Oh, okay." She looks at her weirdly, then she sees her father coming downstairs.
Namakesha was just as surprised as she was to see Bronte. When he and Bronte were on the phone, neither one mentioned that Kaimana would listen to his mate's thoughts today. He hasn't had a chance to talk with her about it. So he informs her through their links.
She asked Marigold if she wanted to sit down, then she frowned at Bronte. Because he's looking at her gookily.
Marigold tells her her handsome Emrys is. She'll be flabbergasted when she gets some grandchildren. She looked at Keenan.
"I have to find my mate first, Mother." He chuckles. "My mother is alway talking about grandchildren.
Kaimana at them while listening to their thoughts and listens to their thoughts and hearts.
Namakesha strikes up a conversation to take Bronte's attention off of Kaimama. He knows how much his daughter dislikes being rushed
Bronte invites Namakesha to join him and the triplets for drinks tonight, which was another reason he came there. Namakeha said he'll be there. Let him know the time and place.
A few minutes later, Kaimana tells them she and her son would be upstairs. She looks at Bronte. "Congratulations, you have a wonderful mate and an amazing son. Be happy."
Bronte smiles, thinking, "It's about time. Now I can relax and enjoy life."
"Yes, you can. We all can relax now." Namakesha pat Bronte's shoulder
