I lost track of how many days I have been here. There have been a few where Alpha Damascus made me go take a shower and freshen up.
Vatra was making improvements, but she was still unconscious. I slept only when they brought in a larger bed so I could lay with her. This was for my sanity and her healing. Often, people came in and talked with me. I think they felt it would help. At times it did, but other times, it just irritate me. I was only eating, because the hospital staff were policing my meals.
Time continued on without me being present. It was a cool morning when I felt Vatra stir. Without any notice, her body heated up. Smoke was coming from her nostrils. I pushed the button for a nurse. Her response was quick and she went running out of the room when she noticed Vat
