We made it to the border of Sunrise Valley just before 10. The flat tire was from a rock puncture and no incidents followed which was a relief. I covered all the basics about what would happen in this meeting with Abel, so hopefully he doesn’t have a ton of questions during the meeting. The window rolls down and Denzel tells them who we are and that Alpha James is expecting us. After a quick check, the guards allow us through. I’m rather impressed that this entire pack is surrounded by a beautiful brick and cast-iron gate. Obviously, they need to protect the outer perimeter, but this gate would slow down any potential attackers.
