Dina POV
"I'm not going to get married." He says.
I look at him in disbelief. Shocked. Confused.
"How can you just call off your marriage?" I ask, knowing who he is, he could do anything he wanted to.
"Easily. We just need to make sure we are on the same page. This marriage was crazy from the beginning, but I had to go with it anyways." He explains.
I take a bite out of my food, trying to process the information that he just gave me.
"Please explain." I say, knowing there is more to this, then he is letting on.
"It's a long story." He sighs. His face is unreadable, it is like he wants to explain to me what is going on, but he cannot find the right words. "It was an arranged marriage. It was supposed to happen, before I even met you." He explains.
"Look I'm not asking you to marry me, if that’s what you’re thinking." I mutter out, trying to clear up any misunderstandings.
"No, trust me. I do not want to get married. Hell, I never even had plans to get married at all in my life. I think the whole idea is stupid. However, you do not know my parents. What they want, they find a way to get. That is what the whole idea was for this marriage. If I were to marry Jaime, her father would combine his company with mine. The companies would further venture out outside of the US, because of his image. This would be a multibillion-dollar deal. I mean we make a good amount of money now, but the deal would basically double the amount if our companies got together." He says in the simplest way possible to make sure I understand.
I sit there in silence. I do not know what to say. We barely know each other, but he is telling me all these personal things. I sit back in my chair, gazing out the window, realizing how beautiful the night sky looks.
After sitting in silence for some time I look at him and smile, "So what do out want to do?" I ask.
He smiles back, "I want you to meet my parents, and we are going to tell them we were together before I was forced to be married. We had a secret relationship out of the public’s eye. Simple."
"When will this dinner take place?" I ask, curiosity getting the better of me.
"Tomorrow night. The weddings on Saturday, so we need to do it fast."
I nod my head, as the waitress comes to take the dishes away. She hands him the checkbook and he put a handful of cash into it.
We ride the way back to the doctor’s office in silence. The ride back to my car is rather quick, and it was surprisingly an enjoyable day.
He parks right next to my car and comes around to open the door.
I grab my purse, step out of the car. I turn to face him as he shuts the door, and our eyes met. His eyes are like a trans, something I could get lost into. Its like nothing else matters when he is around. He leans forward to kiss me, but for some reason I turn away. I cannot make a stupid mistake again.
“I should probably get going.” I say, trying to hide the musk of emotions that I am feeling.
“Ya, me too, I will walk you to the door.” He says grabbing my waist ushering me to walk next to him.
“Thank you.” My voice is soft yet gentle, showing him, I really mean it.
“No, thank you.” He says opening the door, as I walk through.
“For what?” I question, I have done nothing to deserve this.
“Everything.” He sighs before continuing, “You may not realize it, but I don’t want to get married. I am not that type of a guy, I do not believe in love, Hell I never even wanted to be a father. However, with you it is different. It’s hard to explain.”
I stand by the elevator, confused on his confession, but relieved that he is not running away. He is taking responsibilities.
“Will you really be in the baby’s life?” I whisper avoiding his gaze, afraid to hear his answer.
“Yes, I will.” He grabs my chin, as I turn my gaze to him. Making sure that I am looking into his eyes, as he continues speaking, “I won’t guarantee a relationship or marriage with you. It is not who I am, but I will no matter what be in my child’s life. I will make sure you and my child are well taking care of no matter what.”
The look in his eyes, tells me he is serious. He really is not going to abandon me. With a smile, I lean and give him a kiss on the cheek.
“I will see you tomorrow, Goodnight.” And with those words, I walk into the elevator.

Chris POV
I put my hand over my head, trying to figure out what the hell I am going to do about my parents. They are not going to be pleased with this decision. Hell, I do not even think they are going to approve of it.
I am pacing back and forth through my office with my phone in my hands, trying to figure out the words to say.
“f**k it.” I mutter while dialing up my dad’s number.
“Hello?” My dad irritated voice comes through the line.
“Dad, we need to talk.” I firmly state.
“About?” He questions.
“Something Important. Let us meet Oaklands and 7pm for dinner.” I suggest, hoping he will leave it at that.
“Fine.” He hangs up.
I sigh in relief. Looking at the documents at my desk, signing them, trying to speed up the day.
I glance at the clock on my desk 6:20pm. I roll my eyes and grab my jacket throwing it on. I was supposed to text Dina the address, but instead I insisted that I pick her up. I know how the night is going to end, and personally I did not want her driving. I could never forgive myself if something were to happen.
I drive down the long highway, and in about 15 minutes I am downstairs sitting in my car waiting for her. I look at our text messages waiting her response.
Hey, I am downstairs in my car.
Okay, I will be down in a minute.
I glance at the time, 6:37pm.
I run a hand through my hair, dreading the time until we must see my parents.
Something catches my eye through the windshield, and I glance up to see its Dina.
Grey curvy short dress. Not skimpy still professional. It brought out every curve she had, with her low heel boots. She wore a black long ribbed sweater to compliment it. She looked so perfect. A goddess sent from the heavens, and every bit of it will be carried down to our child.
OUR.
Wow, I never thought I would like hearing that. Seeing her and the way she is just in the time I have known her, she is amazing.
I get out of the car and walk over to the passenger side, opening the door for her.
“Thank you” she responds as she slides into the seat.
“Your welcome.” I say as I close the door and return to the driver side.
I hop in the car and we are at the restaurant by 7pm.
By the time we got there, my parents were already in there usually seats sipping on their wine waiting for me.
“Here we go,” I whisper to her, “Whatever happens just go with what I say.”
She turns her head and nods; I can see how nervous she is in her eyes. She looks terrified, and I feel like an ass to have to put her through this. I do not really have a choice.
With a deep breath, I force out a smile and walk with her over to the table.
“Chris who is this?’ My father asks turning his head to Dina.
“Well this is what I needed to talk to you about. This is Dina, The future mother of my child.” I say with confidence I never thought I had.
“Excuse me?” he coughs out, while my mother had to grab the napkin for the wine, she spilled on herself when taking a sip.
