Episode Four

HER SCARS, HIS SINS

Immediately I left the hospital I drove to the restaurant and got a large beef burger and french

fries. I decided on eating it when I got home cause I was tired as hell. I crossed the street to get

to my car after leaving the restaurant. Immediately I crossed the road I heard a scream. My

heart jumped out of my chest as I turned, shaking , to look at what happened . I saw a woman

laying dead at the center of the road , her clothes tainted red . I froze at the sight of blood on her

dropping my burger and fries to the ground causing it to scatter everywhere. Tears ran down my

face as my nightmares came back in full force. My knees turned weak, dropping to the ground

hitting my head hard. My vision blurred but I could still make out people rushing to the woman

I walked into the hospital in my glasses,white coat and face mask looking a tad bit responsible.

Immediately I sighted Stephanie, one of the nurses, walking to me . She swayed her hips trying

so hard to look attractive. She reached me ,aiming to hold my hand but I stepped back not

wanting her hands on me .She frowned.

“What do you want Stephanie?” I said, sounding annoyed. She pouted her new fake lips that

looked like they were about to explode at my tone.

“Well Doctor Romera, I just came to tell you that the patient who got stabbed badly last week is

showing improvement and healing because of you”

. She said making her voice tiny while

twirling her hair.

“Okay” I walked away from her not wanting to hear more. I went to call Martin because one of

my warehouses was robbed a day ago and he was in charge of security.

“What happened?” I asked him immediately he answered the phone

“I don’t even know how they did it but I was in the control room when I saw our snipers shot

down at the same time. I was about to alert the guards but the cameras all went black and I lost

signal… I tried leaving the room but the door was locked from the outside so I had no way to

escape . After about 10 minutes of trying to get the signal back I heard the door unlock. I took

out my gun and walked out but all I saw was our guards on the ground with a bullet to the

hearts. I checked around and it was the same thing. Everything was stolen and I was the only

person alive in the warehouse. I’m sorry I didn’t know how to stop it”

“It’s fine , it’s not your fault.I’ll stop at the warehouse tomorrow to check the surrounding, this

isn’t just a normal robbery and … I’ll call you back later” I said hearing a knock on the door.

“Come in,

” I said ending the call. John, a male nurse walked in.“Sir we have a patient in the emergency room who got rushed in by someone saying that the

patient fainted on the road causing her to hit her head”

Not particularly wanting to deal with it I told him to tell Dr. Vinci about it. He told me that he was

taking care of someone else and the rest of the doctors are on break at the moment. I sighed

caving in and I followed him out of the office.

I walked into the emergency room and I saw my lady in red ,now wearing the hospital gown. A

smile appeared on my face. She looked ethereal, almost unreal with her hair scattered on the

pillow and her eyes shut revealing her long full eyelashes. Her cheeks are chubby with her

freckles making me want to touch them. I cleared my head and started taking care of her

wounded forehead. She winced in pain each time I touched the wound but she never woke up.

When I was done she opened her eyes slowly, trying to adjust to the room's lighting. I was

looking directly at her with worry . Immediately she saw me ,she widened her eyes . She looked

like a doll almost making me go on my knees and beg her to be mine.
