LAYLA: Give me a call when you can. LOGAN: I'm busy. LAYLA: LOGAN!! I'm serious, it's important. LOGAN: Oh it must be for you to be reaching out to me directly. I'm in a meeting with the dads. I'll call you if I find a free moment. Layla let out a frustrated growl and threw her phone across her room. Luckily, it didn't shatter as it rebounded off the chair and onto the ground, but she kinda wished it had. Not that a broken phone would keep her from having to reach out to her brother, but the audacity of the soon-to-be Alpha to be so rude after his words the last time they had spoken was enough to make Layla start to reanalyze her whole plan. The last time they talked was near a year ago by now and Layla had done a somewhat decent job of burying the memory so deep it no longer pained
