With that being said, Kronos fell into silence. Now that Skia mentioned it, he then began to realize that he was already talking using his mouth. How could he miss that? The adults were pestering him day and night, yet he already spoke his first word? 

He could not even remember what his first word was! After pondering for a moment, Kronos then shifted his gaze towards Skia and furrowed his eyebrows. “Ah, f**k. Since when?”

It was a fact that he could not remember. But Skia knew that he could speak all along. Hence, it would also be possible for him to have the knowledge of knowing when he spoke his first words.

And it was true. The all-knowing Skia indeed remembered. “Can you not remember, Master?” 

Hearing this, Kronos then scowled as he levitated Skia mid-air. “Would I f*****g ask if I f*****g know?”

He said it while shaking Skia forcefully. With that, Skia tried to stop him as it replied in a dizzy tone of voice. “That… That’s r-right. Master! Put.. put me d-down... I am b-begging you, my Lord.”

Seeing how he made Skia miserable, Kronos laughed and placed him down carefully like what he did to the chair a while ago. Skia, on the other hand, was wasted.

“Urgh... I can feel my insides going against each other. Ahem! Anyway, Master said his first word when you first cast an incantation spell. The word you used to let yourself be invisible, remember?” Skia reported. 

It was almost a week when that happened! Kronos thought that he was chanting in his mind, but it seemed like he mumbled the incantation spell without even knowing. 

“Then, it is f*****g possible to speak effortlessly when I just f*****g turned one year old a month ago?” Kronos asked as he stood up and flew safely towards his crib.

When Skia asked him what he wanted to learn first, Kronos replied eagerly that he wished to fly even without a pair of wings. In other words, he wanted to float as it would be a big help for him when wanting to go to some places.

Skia, on the other hand, shook his head and leaped to also get inside his crib. “No, Master. It is probably because of your potential. Other babies may speak but with limited words. Master can swear just fine.”

“f**k right.” Kronos laughed. 

Well, whether it was because of his potential or he was just born a prodigy, none of them matters. Because the only thing that Kronos felt was relief and happiness, now that he knew that he could already talk fluently, Kronos could finally get rid of the adults that were pestering him day and night. 

With a broad smile that was similar to a Cheshire cat, Kronos slowly lay down on his bed with a snicker. “Kukuku. Let’s officially say our first word tomorrow then.”

As for Skia’s reaction, it was not sure whether to be scared or to anticipate Kronos’ official first word. Either of the two, Skiawas certain that Kronos have something up on his sleeves.

The next morning, Hethera was humming while she was on her way to Kronos’ room with the thought of teaching him how to say mama again. She would not let Demiris and Aquila to be in her way. She was the one who carried Kronos for nine months! Even giving birth was like a hell for her!

Demiris, on the other hand, was preparing for breakfast with a smug face. Every night, he would bribe Kronos for food and toys. They say that a way to a baby’s mind is through food and toys. He sure was one step ahead towards Hethera and Aquila. He made sure to craft Kronos into a perfect child. He even kidn*pped the High Priest. There was no way Kronos did not notice his love!

The two may have been lax with all the confidence of preparing the table and humming to get the baby, but Aquila was already there! For a reason that she was the nanny of Kronos, she was, of course, early to wake him up and dress him for the day. Because Aquila had eight children, she was already aware of the technique for Kronos to have his first word ‘nanny’. It was to be telling him every time that certain word to the point that he could finally remember it even without Aquila telling him.

All of them were confident and hopeful that Kronos would say, Mama, Papa, or Nanny. But, what would the Almighty’s first word be?

“Young Master, it’s time to wake up- oh my, you are already awake?” Aquila replied in awe as she entered the room of Kronos together with a towel and a basin of water.

Kronos, on the other hand, stared at Aquila and patiently waited for her to pick him up. He had a brilliant plan, of course. That was why he woke up earlier than usual. He made extra efforts as he made Skia his alarm clock. 

When Aquila started to place the basin and the towel beside him, Kronos knew that it would be the time that Aquila would pick him up. Hence, before she could do so, Kronos opened his mouth...

“N...” Kronos teased.

Hearing this, Aquila’s pupils shrank as she abruptly clapped her hands with joy. “Oh, my heavens! Are you going to say your first word, Young Master? N? Yes? Say, nanny!!”

Good. Kronos managed to distract his nanny and prevented her from taking him. 

Of course, the commotion was heard by Hethera, who was on her way to greet her adorable son. And when she heard that Kronos was going to say his first word, Hethera halted from humming and abruptly rushed towards her son’s room. “Are you certain, nanny?! Is Kronos going to say his first word?!”

Seeing that his mother was already present, Kronos suppressed a smirk and slowly looked at him with innocent eyes. “M..”

With that being said, Hethera’s eyes twinkled as she held Kronos’ tiny hands with excitement. “Yes? Mama~ Yes, honey Mama~ Oh my~”

And the last to arrive was Demiris. He, of course, overheard them in Kronos’ room. However, he was yet to finish setting up the table. Hence, he could not rush over like what his wife does. But when he finally finished setting up the table, Demiris abruptly sprinted towards the direction of Kronos’ room. 

“I just heard my son speak! Yes, my treasure! I know you are going to say, Papa! Am I right? Papa? Bribe? Huh?” Demiris said with a hint of desperation in his voice. 

Of course, those words did not escape Hethera and Aquila’s ears when they glared at Demiris together and asked, “What bribe?!”

With that, the excitement and desperation that Demiris felt was washed away and was changed into anxiety and nervousness. “What? Did I say bribe, my dear wife and nanny? I did not!”

The two of them were about to say something when Kronos once again teased them. “P..”

If they were to start an argument, there’s a possibility that he'd be left out. Hence, Kronos tried to be the center of attraction as much as possible.

And it worked. Demiris was teary-eyed when he talked to Kronos. “Yes? P? Papa? Ah, I can rest in peace.”

He was done teasing. And with that, Kronos thought that it was already time for the final blow.

So he showed off a smile on his face while the adults were staring intently, waiting for him to open his mouth and finally hear his first word.

Kronos, of course, did not delay it any longer and opened his mouth. “Kronos!”

Hearing his unexpected first word, the adults passed out.
